The jail has four holding cells for intoxicated inmates, twelve lockdown cells for problem inmates or disciplinary cases, and video arraignment capability for Marietta Municipal Court cases. There are also laundry facilities and a kitchen where cooks make all the food by hand.
Inmates get three meals a day. They have access to medical care and mental health counseling. They can walk freely in their dorms between 5:30 AM and 10:30 PM. Lockdown is at 10:30 PM. Corrections officers must complete 24 hours of continuing education each year in self-defense, fire training, CPR, and jail training.
